Recently, I wrote a blog post comparing Canva to Designsta for Graphic Design for Bloggers. I’d had some great feedback about that post and wanted to dig a bit deeper into Designsta to share more of its great features and benefits. In addition, Louise Clark, creator and owner of Designsta has offered to giveaway THREE FREE MONTHS of Designsta to one lucky reader!
So why do I love Designsta so much? First, it is the only graphic design platform designed for and created by female entrepreneurs. You can easily (after you get over the learning curve) create beautiful, branded graphics for your audience.
Designsta came about as Louise continued to run into female business owners who were struggling to create their own social media and web graphics. These women entrepreneurs had been buying from online graphics repositories and finding that the graphics they used were also being used by dozens or hundreds of other people. It had been hard to stand out when everyone was using the same graphics. As a graphic designer herself and while looking for a developer to create a platform to allow Louise to customize the postcards she had been creating, she learned what was possible.
She formed her team and Designsta was born!
Since then, Designsta now offers hundreds of templates from social media graphics to web banners and from printables to ebooks. New graphics and bundles are added monthly for fresh new looks for your graphic design. I love not having to reinvent the wheel whenever I need a new printable for my audience or when refreshing the look of my Facebook page.
The best benefit of Designsta, though, is the amazing support. The Designsta Classroom Facebook group is buzzing with other women business owners. Whether you need feedback on one of your designs or help navigating the Designsta platform, all you need to do is pop in the group and you will find the support you need. Louise and her team are incredibly responsive and always are ready with suggestions to help. Additionally, they are continually adding new features, fonts and graphics based on feedback from current Designsta users. You just can’t find that level of support with any other graphic design platform.
Another great feature of Designsta is the Video Vault. Not sure how to change the colors on a template? Can’t figure out how to upload your own image? Struggling with how to hide a design element? The Video Vault has the answers for you. Short, easy-to-understand, how-to videos that get you straight to creating.
Here are few graphics that I designed using Designsta that would have taken hours using another platform:
Aren’t they just fabulous? I looove Designsta and I know you will, too!
